The Bob Brice Family will be moving from Bear Creek and Lucille is on the election board. New members will have to be gotten for this board. ______7..The November meeting needs to be set as the election is on the regular night. Could it start at 8:15 P.M. as there will be a small vote? ______8. Town Board to be paid at this meeting. ______9. There is an election of the Ithaca residents on November 5, 2013 of a referendum. We will use a 3 person board of Phyllis, Judy, and Ken. Being published. Ithaca will pay for all of the costs, as there is no regular election...Published and getting ready for this election.. ______10. Quarterly reports are due at this time to state and federal. ______11. The recycling grant application was completed on the computer for 2014 by the clerk. We were notified of its completion correctly completed. ______12. Housing report should be here and to be given to Harold. ______13. There is a clean sweep in Sauk County Saturday October 5th. ______14. 2nd half of insurance is due in November. ______15. The bill came for the 2nd half of the fire department for Plain. We have always paid this in November. So we kept it for November. ______16. Approved Minutes to August Meeting of Bear Creek Town Board

MINUTES TO REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF BEAR CREEK TOWNSHIP August 6, 2013 The Township of Bear Creek held its regular monthly meeting Tuesday August 6, 2013 at the Bear Creek Town Hall with the meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Marty McCluskey. Present included : Harold Emerson and Jeff Scallon, Supervisors; Sheila Tafs, Treasurer; Tim McCluskey, Patrolman; and Eileen Eberle, Clerk. Minutes to the last meeting were read by the Clerk. Motion to approve as read was made by Harold Emerson , 2nd, and carried. Treasurer’s report was given by the treasurer.Motion to approve as presented by Jeff Scallon , 2nd, and carried. Road work being done was discussed. . . The State School Credit was received and credited to our account at Sauk County.. The Insurance Audit was completed and sent.. Final values for assessment in Bear Creek is $ 57,114,700.00 for 2013. Consumer’s Co-op sent contract on the amount of billings of propane for the winter season. Marty has the contract. Was signed and returned. Signed contract back in township. Copies for the board. Contracted for 2500 gallons. St. Patrick’s got a 1 day beer serving license for their September 15th gathering. The September meeting was set for September 3, 2013 on Tuesday evening. The recycling Grant for 2013 needs to be completed and sent in. It is in the computer State Shared Revenue is to come this month. The chairman put together the figures for the bridge program . The clerk’s new email is eberlelue@gmail.com The Quarterly reports were completed and sent. The 2% fire bills came and sent to the 2 fire departments. A driveway survey came concerning property of Dedericks and this was forwarded to the Planning and Zoning Commission.It was approved and Marty signed the papers and sent them to the county. Bills were paid as presented and approved by the board. Motion was made at 9:18 P.M. by Jeff Scallon to adjourn the meeting, 2nd and carried. Chairman McCluskey adjourned the meeting. AGENDA FOR REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF BEAR CREEK Tuesday September 3 ,2013 Call meeting to order Roll Call Minutes to last meeting Treasurer’s report ______1. Roads being done in the township for 2012. Discussion. ______2. The assessment report came and copies made for the board. ______3.There will be an election in Bear Creek on November 5th for Ithaca residents. We will use a 3 person election board . Ballots to be printed by Ithaca and they pay all of our expenses , when they get the bill from us. ______4.The budget needs to be started in October for 2014. ______5. The State Road report comes at this time and needs to be completed for funds for roads. This is sent to the Chairman. ______6.The County Directories will no longer be printed by the county. They are on the computer and available to the residents. ______7. The Recycling Grant papers for 2013 are on the computer. They need to be run off and filled out and sent to the state and district by October 1, 2013. Clerk to complete these and send to respective departments.. ______8. The current population for the township is 598. This is up almost 100 people from the 2 000 census report.. ______9. The Rural Mutual Insurance Audit was completed and sent . ______10.The clerk purchased a new computer for her home and has to start using Microsoft Word, instead of Works as in the past. ______11.A proof petition list for Managed Forest Land for 2013 is here and copies run for the board. ______12. .The dog list is to be completed for the year and sent to the county by the treasurer. ______13.The equalized values comes for 2013 and the Clerk will run copies for the board. ______14. Sauk County Plat Books are available at the county ... ______15 .The clerk issued Ken Blum a key to the town hall so he could get in to work on the voting equipment when needed. ______16. The Dederick driveway permit was approved by the Bear Creek Planning Commission . Chairman Marty McCluskey signed the paperwork and this was forwarded onto the county .$50.00 check here for the driveway. Give to Harold ______2. The State School Credit check should come this month. All to be returned to the county for taxes.. ______3. St. Patrick’s Church applied for a Gathering License to serve beer for September 15th.. It is here at the Town Hall. Should I mail it or will you take it to the church? ______4. Roads being done in the township for 2013. Discussion. . ______5. The Chairman compiled papers and reports to get the funds for the culverts.etc. for the Trip Fund . ______6. The Alere bill came for $80.00 for the testing of drug program of the patrolman.. ______7. The Recycling Grant papers for 2013 are on the computer. They need to be run off and filled out and sent to the state and district by October 1, 2013. Clerk to complete these and send to perspective departments.. ______8. Sauk County is updating its programs with the parks . Wants to know of any area concerns. ______9. The Rural Mutual Insurance Audit was completed ..The added cost is $570.00. ______10.The propane contract is here to be signed by the board . The check to be paid is in the amount of $1980.74. ______11. The State Shared Revenue payment is to come at this time.. ______12. Addendum to June 4th meeting

Addendum to Regular meeting. Pam Liegel wishes to address the Bear Creek Town Board on concerns of ATV rides on Dawn Road. Complaints have come to the board on the fencing put in by Joe Bauer on his land and being taken out by Dan Reutten.Marty been informed on this. Several buildings were damaged in the recent storms. Much needed rain but many times high winds.c

AGENDA FOR REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF TOWN OF BEAR CREEK Tuesday June 4,2013 8:00 P.M. Board of Review or until adjournment. Meet and adjourn to July 2,2013 at 6:00 P.M. Call regular monthly meeting to order. Roll Call Minutes to last meeting Treasurer’s report Agenda: _______1. Discussion on road work for the summer. Mowing also being done. _______2. St.Patrick’s Church requested a 1 day license to sell beer. Dwayne Faber requested a 1 day license of a licensed bar tender. Marty approved. and these were issued for Saturday June 1st. _______3. The licenses for Drea’s Bar will be issued the end of June for next year. Clerk will publish notice in paper. _______4. Insurance Audit needs to be completed and sent during this month. This is for Workman’s Comp. and has to be all the wages for May to May , the insurance year. Getting much more precise. _______4. The election equipment warranty bill came in the amount of 166.90 and being paid at this meeting. _______5. Open Book is June 5th at the Town Hall from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Only the assessor needs to be present. _______6. A bill came from Sauk County Town’s Association for $50.00 . _______7. The propane contract for 2013-2014 winter season is here and to be signed and returned to the company.. We currently have 845 gallons credit at the company. _______8. The Ward Cemetery report to the county needs to be completed on the veteran and sent to the county. This is perpetual care of David Ward’s grave, provided by President Abraham Lincoln following those who gave their lives in the Civil War for the Freedoms in our country..Was Sheley contacted on the care of the Ward Cemetery for 2013? _______9. The Quick-Books program was put on the clerk’s credit card billing as May 30th . The cost is $399.60. . _______10. The date for the July meeting is July 2nd . It will. be completed at the time of the Board of Review or soon afterward.. _______11. Susan Vandergrift requested being removed from the election board list. Approved.. _______12. The sheet should come in the housing report for 2013 and the building inspector, Harold, is to complete this report. _______13. What is the check for Assessment Technologies? Is this an assessor license ? _______14. The mower payment of $9,524.64 is due at this time and being paid tonight. This is the final payment on equipment. . _______15. The assessor will have a bill for expenses. _______16. The tobacco report needs to be completed for the state, even if we have no sales. _______17. . Approved February 2013 minutes of Town of Bear Creek

MINUTES TO REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF TOWN OF BEAR CREEK Audit Meeting at 7:30 P.M. at the Town Hall The Town of Bear Creek Town Board audited the record books of their Clerk and Treasurer for 2012 at 7:30 P.M. at the Bear Creek Town Hall. The books were all approved and signed by the board. Present included Chairman Marty McCluskey, Supervisor 1 Harold Emerson, Supervisor 2 Jeff Scallon, Treasurer Sheila Tafs, Patrolman Tim McCluskey , and Clerk Eileen Eberle Immediately following the audit ,the Town of Bear Creek Town Board held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday February 5th, 2013 at the Bear Creek Town Hall, with the meeting called to order at 8:00 P. M. by Chairman Marty McCluskey. Present included :Harold Emerson and Jeffrey Scallon, Supervisors, Sheila Tafs , treasurer; Tim McCluskey, Patrolman, and Eileen Eberle, Clerk. Minutes were read by the Clerk. Motion to approve as read by Harold Emerson, 2nd, and carried. Treasurer’s report was presented by the Treasurer. Motion to approve as presented by Jeffrey Scallon, 2nd, and carried. Roads were discussed concerning salt and sand. Regular winter roads. There will be a Spring Primary Election in Bear Creek on February 19,2013. We will use a 3 person election board, as there is only 1 position to be voted on. Phyllis, Judy, and Ken. Checks are to go to the schools on February 20th of the monies paid in January. Sheila needed a check to pay the dogs dues. . The Clerk’s and the Treasurer’s books for 2012 were audited . The Clerk completed the Township Annual Report and these will be mailed to the residents after the books have been audited. She is also working on the Form C Report for the state. This is due March 31st. The area District’s Town’s Association meetings are being held and Bear Creek is having 5 attend . Some to DeForest and some to Mineral Point.. Harold is to meet with the assessor on new construction in Bear Creek . The tobacco report was completed and mailed. The PILT checks were sent to River Valley, MATC, and Sauk County and the State. The April meeting needs to be set. Election on Tuesday April 2nd,2013. The 1099s were mailed out in January. The Recycling Report for Bear Creek for 2012 needs to be completed on the computer and submitted to the state. Statement of taxes was completed and sent to the county, state, and treasurer. The water testing program will be held February 15th and 16th and all board members taking a shift of the times. Sheila attended the Recycling Meeting in Baraboo given by the state. The March meeting was set for Tuesday March 5,2013 at 8:00 P.M. A request from the newspaper concerning information of the board ‘s reasons for running for office was denied . Bills were paid as presented and approved by the board. Motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:15 P.M. was made by Harold Emerson , 2nd , and carried. Chairman McCluskey adjourned the meeting. Approved Minutes to March 2013 Town Board Meeting

MINUTES TO REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF TOWN OF BEAR CREEK . The Town Board of the Township of Bear Creek held its regular monthly meeting at the Bear Creek Town Hall Tuesday evening March 5, 2013 with the meeting called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Marty McCluskey. Present included : Harold Emerson and Jeff Scallon, Supervisors; Sheila Tafs, Treasurer; Tim McCluskey, Patrolman; , and Eileen Eberle, Clerk. Minutes to the last meeting were read by the clerk. Motion to approve as read by Harold Emerson , seconded, and carried. Treasurer’s report was presented by the treasurer. Motion to approve as presented by Jeff Scallon , 2nd, and carried. The Form C State Report has been completed by the clerk and sent registered mail to the state. The Township Annual Report for 2012 has been completed by the clerk. These were run and sent to the residents in February. Treasurer ran the labels for these letters. The April 2nd General Election will need a 5 person election board. Clerk to put notice in the papers of the election and the testing of the equipment for election day.The testing will be Saturday March 30,2013 at 8:30 A.M. at the Town Hall.. The polls will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on election day. Sample ballots in township The Township changed its April meeting to Tuesday April 9, 2013 at 8:00 P.M. This because of the election on Tuesday. This needs to be published. The Township Annual Meeting will be held Tuesday April 16 th at 8:00 P.M. at the Bear Creek Town Hall. This needs to be published in the paper . The board needs to review the roads before the Annual Meeting , if the weather permits this. This will be set at the April meeting . The state housing report needs to be completed and was given to Harold, the building inspector for the township. . Fire Audit forms were completed by the clerk and the fire chiefs so we get the fire dues. Voter registration forms are here and we will continue to complete these at the Spring Elections. We have 3 trained by the state for the election processes, Phyllis , Judy, and Eileen to be Chief Inspectors. Will get Lucille and Ken trained also in the next 2 years..Clerk is trained but doesn’t work at the elections as a poll worker , only in emergency... The PILT monies came for the area schools and county and were distributed.. Renewal of the Quick Books Payroll Program needs to be ordered in April or May. The District Town’s Association meetings were held with Marty, Harold, Sheila , and Jeff attending. .The schools were paid for their February payment by February 20th.. The FICA is 6.2 for employees and 6.2 for employers at this time. A resolution needs to be put in place to extend next year for board members as the Annual Meeting date was changed by the legislature. Town to do this at Annual Meeting. The Recycling report for 2012 has to be completed online by the clerk and submitted to the state. A report had to be completed for overseas and military voters. The water testing program was very well accepted and 29 people used this service . The meeting of explaining the results will be Monday March 18th at Plain. Each board member took a turn at assisting the residents in getting the testing completed. The clerk represented the town at the meeting in Spring Green on February 28th to put together a day in May to show the strengths of the businesses in River Valley area. More on this later. The Recycling Grant forms were completed and sent to the District Office. Open Book for 2013 has to be set from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Bear Creek Town Hall. Only the assessor needs to be there.Possibly a Saturday _______9. The Quick Books program needs to be gotten for the payroll . Clerk puts this on her credit card and gives a bill to the board at the next meeting. _______10. Burning permits need to be gotten in area towns.No longer available in Bear Creek. _______11..Letter from state concerning the W-7 report for 2012. Will see this is taken care of. _______12. Proclaim May 1st through May7th as Municipal Clerk’s Week in Bear Creek Township in Wisconsin.. _______13. The Clerk’s and Treasurer’s bond at Statewide Services is due in the amount of $125.00. _______14.The Clerk mailed to the county the cards of voters coming for the records If you don’t vote in 4 years your name is removed from the poll list. _______15. The Clerk and Treasurer to attend a District Meeting in Mazomanie on May 9th. . ________16.Sauk County Planning and Zoning are now putting their information on the e-mail. No letters. Also posted on County web page. _______17-.
