With the national news and weather service quoting blizzard conditions for our area ,an emergency meeting time was called by the Bear Creek Town Board for 6:00 P.M. instead of 8:00 P.M. on February 1st.
The roads and weather were at blizzaed conditions, the meeting adjourned at 7:10 and all members of the board got home safely, with the men checking that each got home safe. All business before the board and on the agenda was completed.
All schools and most businesses were closed the next day and our area got about 12 inches of snow and gusts of wind at 40 miles per hour. Really an old-fashioned winter weather with about 12 below zero today and most schools on a 2 hour delay. Stay warm and safe.
