Saturday October 6,2012 Clean Sweep in Sauk County

to undisclosed recipients Sauk County will host a Clean Sweep Program to dispose of hazardous wastes on Saturday, October 6, from 8:30 a.m.- noon at the former Sauk County Landfill, located at E8795B Evergreen Lane, Baraboo. Commercial entities and farm operations in Sauk County that qualify as Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQGs) of hazardous waste are eligible to participate and are required to preregister by September 26. There is a fee for commercial entities but not for farm operations. The attached flyer and poster have more information on what will be accepted. Please feel free to distribute these, post them, or publicize the event in any way you can. Also, attached are two handouts that list alternative disposal options.
